Moerlein Fine Art Prints
The paintings created for Moerlein labels are available as fine art giclee prints. They are printed on canvas using archival inks. The image area is 16” x 20”, with a 1.5” border. They are signed, numbered, limited editions of 100 of each painting. They can be framed under glass, or on a canvas stretcher.
Jim Effler is a nationally known illustrator whose work has appeared on posters, packages, books and magazine covers. In addition to the Moerlein labels, he is also known for his Bockfest posters, which promote the springtime beer celebration in Cincinnati.
Giclee is a high quality printing process in which the artist’s original painting is reproduced using state of the art technology and the finest inks, papers, and canvas. The giclee printmaker and artist oversee every detail of the process, resulting in a very accurate reproduction of the original. Testing of the inks, in combination with the fine art mediums used, has shown that these art prints last longer than those produced from traditional offset lithography.
